21/12/12 My year at the theatre

Hi Theatre-goers

This will be my last blog of the year and what a year in theatre it’s been.

I’ve been privileged to see many a great show during the last 12 months including… A Chorus of Disapproval (hilarious); Chariots of Fire (makes you proud to be British); The Bodyguard (breath-taking); Jersey Boys (feel good musical); The Lion King (sensational); Looserville (Glee for Geeks!); Singin’ in the Rain (outstanding choreography); Top Hat (wonderful dance numbers)and We Will Rock You (5th time of viewing – still LOVE it!)

I also visited the amazing world of the Harry Potter Studios in Leavesden, the ATP World Tour Tennis Finals (twice), the Olympics & Paralympics, War of the Worlds & Jesus Christ Superstar (twice).

Next year we are already booked in to see Billy Elliot (the kids choice) in January and One Man, Two Guv’nors in February.

Looking forward to musicals The Book of Mormon, A Chorus Line and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory opening in 2012. Plus plays including Relatively Speaking with Felicity Kendal and Barking in Essex with Lee Evans & Shiela Hancock.

Anyway, enjoy Christmas everyone

I’ll be back with you in the New Year
