Here at Theatre Breaks we are very excited that Hunger Games On Stage is coming to London this winter.
This is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion-picture.
The Hunger Games: On Stage will be performed in a brand-new state of the art venue, Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, located in yes you guessed it: Canary Wharf, so it is handy for both the underground and DLR railway lines.
Based on the original “Hunger Games” story, the stage version follows our heroine Katniss Everdeen on her journey of self-discovery, as she emerges as a beacon of rebellion and hope.
Playwright Conor McPherson (Girl from the North Country, The Weir) and Director Matthew Dunster (2:22 – A Ghost Story, Hangmen, The Pillowman), will bring this powerful story to life on stage, using extraordinary stunts and illusions in an epic, unforgettable, theatrical experience.
Hunger Games on stage opens from 13 November 2025 with performances running Tuesday to Saturday at 19:30 with weekend matinees at 14:30 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hotels close to the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre include the Ibis London Docklands, The Novotel London Point A London and Tribe London, so a great choice.
