Set in the Kit Kat Klub in 1931 Weimar Berlin, Cabaret tells the story of a young writer who discovers the world of the Kit Kat Club and the outcasts who inhabit it. The writer, Clifford, falls for one of the dancers at the club, Sally Bowles (Aimee Lou Wood) and get’s drawn into a strange dark and sinister world, meeting the Club’s sinister MC and all those who work, visit and live near the club.
But what none of them know is the effect that the rise to power of the Nazi Party will have on all of their lives.
With music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, CABARET AT THE KIT KAT CLUB is an electrifying highlight to your Cabaret Theatre Break.
