Hi theatre-goers

Last working day of June… where is that first 6 months of 2012 go????

Today, I’m working on news about what’s coming up in the Autumn and Winter months. There is so much opening in the West End from September onwards my diary is going to be chocka with numerous theatre trips!

Just announced is that Hogwart’s favourite “Neville” actor Matthew Lewis is to join Lawrence Fox at the Duchess theatre in a new play called “Our Boys” about the trials and tribulations faced by injured forces personnel returning to civvy life. My kids thought the character of Neville was brilliant – especially in the last 3 films where he really comes into his own. I’m not sure anyone took real notice of Matthew Lewis until that final confrontation with Voldemort and then the whole audience sat up in the cinema and thought “Wow! This boy can act!!” I reckon he’s got a very bright future ahead of him.

Other shows opening in London are musicals The Bodyguard and Viva Forever, family shows Ice Age Live and Walking with Dinosuars. Plus arena tours of War of the Worlds and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Something for everyone, me thinks!

Have a great Friday & weekend
C’mon Andy Murray & Heather Watson!
