Mean Girls is a musical comedy about Cady who moves from the wilds of Kenya where she has been home-schooled by her mum, to a high school in Chicago to discover that this new “jungle” is every bit as daunting and the wildlife every bit as vicious as what she is used to.
As the official blurb goes: Meet The Plastics – Regina, Gretchen and Karen. They rule North Shore High and will burn anyone who gets in their way. When Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.

It is composed by Jeff Richmond who worked with Fey on sitcom ,Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) with lyrics by Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon).
