Wicked is London’s “Best Night Out”

A Wicked Night Out

Last night, theatregoers at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards voted Wicked London’s “Best Night Out”

Wicked has already entertained over four million theatre goers – so there were enough of them voting. Wicked theatre breaks continue to be the top choice for those on a weekend break in London, having previously won the 2010 Olivier Audience Award for ‘Most Popular Show’ and the 2010 AND 2011 ‘Best West End Show’ at the Whatsonstage.com Awards.

Book your Hotel and Wicked Theatre Break – the most popular show in town!

Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire that re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

There is a great selection of hotels close to the Apollo Victoria Theatre, for a Wicked theatre break, and access is great with Victoria train, tube and bus stations just yards away.

Nearby Hotels: Rubens, 41, Victoria Park Plaza, Grosvenor Victoria, Thistle Westminster

  1. I would like to write a review on “Theatre Breaks”. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our first wedding aniversary in 2009 by spending a weekend in London and going to see a show. We went to see “Oliver” which was a great show and we had really good seats. I booked our theatre break by telephone and chose to stay at “The Grosvenor Hotel” Park Lane. When we arrived at the hotel we found we our room been upgraded….What a lovely surprise…would definately book with “Theatre Breaks” again..

    1. Hi Janet, so glad you had a great time. Will you be returning to London in 2013 for your fifth wedding aniversary or is that too long to wait?
