17/7/12 Family Theatre Breaks

Hi theatre-goers

Are the kids getting excited about breaking up? Mine are beside themselves with the prospect of 6 whole weeks of “doing nothing”. Except, the novelty of lazing about watching tv all day soon wears off and then they’ll be winging about being bored and “What can we do now, Mum?”

My ace card this summer – as well as Olympic tickets – is a trip to Legoland. We go every year and it’s our favourite UK theme park. We’ve also done Thorpe Park and Chessington both of which we enjoyed, but we always return to Legoland and love every minute spent there.

This Spring we also took in the Warner Brothers (Harry Potter) Studio Tour at Leavesdon which again I can highly recommend. You don’t even have to be an obsessive Potter fan to benefit from the experience. It is a magical 3 – 4 hours for the whole family with so much to see and do – you will come away mentally & physically exhausted! Plus you may get to meet my lovely friend Miranda who is one of the tour guides this summer.

We’ve lots of other family activities ideas to keep the little ankle biters at bay, so there really is no need to be climbing up the walls this summer.

Get out & enjoy Britain at it’s best…

Sara
