Hi Theatre-goers
Well, I think we can safely say that we are not having an Indian summer in the UK this year. Can’t wuite believe that in October 2011 my sons were swimming in the sea at Clacton. Today we were swimming through the rain to get to school.
A great way to forget about the weather outside is to warm the cockles of heart with a theatre break to see Cabaret at the Savoy theatre, London. Still in preview, it officially opens on Tuesday 9th October, it is gaining a reputation for being very, very good.
The two young leads are making their West End debuts with ex-Eastenders’ actress Michelle Ryan taking on Sally Bowles and multi-million selling recording artist Will Young as the charismatic Emcee.
Full of fabulous well-known songs such as “Willkommen”, “Mein Herr”, “Maybe This Time”, “The Money Song”, “Two Ladies” and of course “Cabaret” a trip to the Savoy will shake off all those rainy Autumn day blues.
