Classic Broadway Musical Revival Returns to London
08-22 April 2017
The award-winning, Broadway musical comedy How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying will get a London revival, when it opens at Wilton’s Music Hall for a limited run from 08 April 2017.
First appearing on Broadway in 1961, How To Succeed follows J. Pierrepont Finch as he joins the World Wide Wicket Company, and climbs his way to the top of the New York company with the help of a copy of the book ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’.
With a score by Guys and Dolls composer Frank Loesser this anarchic, musical romp is jam-packed with sharp humour – strange then that it has been 50 years since How to Succeed was last in London.
The cast is led by Marc Pickering (Les Misérables, Calendar Girls, Sleepy Hollow) and Hannah Grover who plays Rosemary.
How to Succeed is directed by Benji Sperring (Toxic Avenger and Shock Treatment) and is presented by Nicholas Thompson Productions and Tarquin Productions in association with the King’s Head Theatre.
Book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert
Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser
Based upon the book by Shepherd Mead
