Starlight Express Theatre Breaks

Yes: The musical with trains in! It came Back. Woo WOO! Nobody Does It Like Steam Can!

When Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe (remember him off of That’s Life?) wrote Starlight Express, the internet wasn’t even a thing, neither was the Premier league or Live Aid, or the Channel Tunnel (to bring it back to trains). So theatre breaks for one heck of a nostalgia trip with a healthy zap by a fabulous new creative team brought the whole thing up to date.

Buy a ticket and hop on board as a child’s train set magically comes to life and the engines race to become the fastest in the world: like the legendary Starlight Express.

Guests were immersed inside a world of speed, song and storytelling as an incredible cast of 40 roller skaters whizz around and over the auditorium and stage, performing some of musical theatre’s most beloved songs, including Only you, Make Up My Heart, Light at the End of the Tunnel and finally Starlight Express.

An electrifying experience for all ages, Starlight Express, has been seen by a staggering 20 million people around the world – did you add your name to the list when it came to the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre last summer.

Starlight Express Performance details:

  • Wednesday to Saturday: 7.30pm
  • Saturday also 2.30pm
  • Sunday only 5.30pm
