The show features a star-studded cast with multi-award-winning music star and Olivier Award-winning performer Beverley Knight, and number one best-selling artist and musical theatre star Alexandra Burke, both portraying the role of Deloris Van Cartier.

Knight, who won the Olivier Award for her role as Emmeline Pankhurst in Sylvia at the Old Vic, will play Deloris from 15 March to 8 June 2024, while Burke will take over the role from 10 June to 31 August 2024. Burke previously played the role of Deloris in the 2016 tour.

Other cast members are also appearing only on specific nights, so do check (although no performer is guaranteed on any particular night):

What we know at the time of writing is that  Ruth Jones will only be performing from 15 March to 8 June, but the week of 9-13 May 2024 will see Birds of a Feather star,   Lesley Joseph, play Mother Superior.

Also 5-17 April & 27 April 2024 Lemar will not be performing and 3-8 June 2024 Clive Rowe will not be performing.

Got all that?

Sister Act – the story

Having witnessed a murder, Delores Van Cartier is placed under protective custody and hidden in the one place she won’t be found – a convent! Disguised as a nun and under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.

Featuring original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken (Disney’s AladdinEnchanted), dazzling dance routines and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, this is one nostalgia-filled trip that you will never forget.
