May Bank Holiday Family Theatre Breaks

Hi Theatre-goers

Forecasters say that the weather is going to pick up on Sunday – it really can’t get any worse in the UK can it? So, I’m looking at the glass half full and onwards to the long May Bank Holiday weekend which is only 3 weeks away!

There are currently some great family shows in the West End  – there really is something for everyone… starting with Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge theatre which has an age guidance of 7 to 70 years! Then there is all things green in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria theatre and across the road from there is the astounding Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace.

May Bank Holiday Family Theatre Breaks London Theatre BreaksSpice Girls inspired musical Viva Forever! at the Piccadilly theatre has a score so well-known that you can pretty much sing along to every song plus have a good dance in the aisles at the end!

For older children who may not think musicals cool, there is the phenomenally outstanding production of War Horse at the New London theatre.

Whatever you choose to do this May Bank Holiday, make sure London’s West End is on the list!

Have a great weekend everyone

Sara
