Mamma Mia! – The Party

My family experienced Mamma Mia! The Party at  New Year and loved it, but at any time of year, this is a truly fun-packed, top-class evening for couples, groups and families: hey you could go on your own and still love it! Currently our ABBA-so-lutely Fantastic London breaks with a Mamma Mia The Party and hotel package are not available to book, but we will be back soon.

Mamma Mia! - The Party London Theatre Breaks

Quality Quality Quality

The concept, the performers, (obviously the music), the food, the ambience, the front of house, the fun!

The Show
Mamma Mia the Party at the O2 in London builds on the huge global success of Mamma Mia The Musical. Immersing the audience in the  Mamma Mia! multiverse, The Party invites us all to Nikos Taverna on Skopelos Island for a four-hour celebration of everything Mamma Mia! during which we meet Nikos and his family as their story unfolds around the tables of his traditional Greek Taverna.

The music is provided by ABBA – everyone’s favourite supergroup and their fabulous back catalogue.

The food is also excellent with good choices for Vegetarians and Vegans. A wide choice of drinks adds to the party atmosphere and the front of house team are just as dedicated as the performers to delivering a memorable evening for all.

The temperature in the venue is even bumped up to a balmy 25 degrees C so you really do feel like you are on a Greek Isle!

All tables seem to have a great view as the action really does take place all over the venue (we were on the top balcony and we found  ourselves sitting next to “Mamma”) but down in the courtyard you definitely feel as though you are in the centre of the action. It is not too much more and although the overall price does seem a lot, I think that for a top show, excellent food, wine and an after-show disco I can honestly say it is worth it.

History of Mamma Mia! The Party
Mamma Mia! The party first opened in Stockholm, Sweden, in January 2016. Since then the show has been playing to full houses every night. The show was created by ABBA founding member Bjorn Ulvaeus. Following the success of Mamma Mia! The Musical and witnessing the audience’s exuberance for ABBA’s songs and the joy of participation, Bjorn masterminded the fabulous Mamma Mia! The Party. The Party has now come to The O2 in London so don’t miss out!
