The last ticket and hotel packages for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre are now available to book from Theatre Breaks.
Classic Shakespeare returns with Much Ado About Nothing, a sparkling comedy of wit and romance, running through to October.
Another highlight still running: As You Like It, co-directed by Sean Holmes and Charlie Josephine, rounds off the season with its pastoral humour and vibrant characters, exploring gender, identity and community in Shakespeare’s lush Forest of Arden.

This summer we will take you outside under Shakespeare’s “big O”. for classics such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado About Nothing and As you Like It. Theatre Breaks have seats in the upper, middle and lower galleries so you can choose where you sit as well as the hotel where you would like to stay overnight.

What have you missed?
The announcement of the 2026 summer season generated the usual amount of excitement with a diverse line-up of productions running through late spring and deep into autumn.
The summer officially opened with A Midsummer Night’s Dream — Shakespeare’s beloved comedy of mischief and magic — staged in the iconic open-air Globe. This production ran from late April and gave us a vivid exploration of love, fantasy and theatrical exuberance.
Following that, the Globe presented a bold staging of Mother Courage and Her Children, Bertolt Brecht’s powerful epic about resilience in the face of war. In a notable creative choice, Artistic Director Michelle Terry starred in the title role, bringing fresh perspective to this 20th-century classic.
Elsewhere in the summer repertoire, Love’s Labour’s Lost — directed by Globe associate artist Indiana Lown-Collins — added youthful energy with its combination of comedy, wordplay and spirited performances.

The Ibis Styles Southwark is ideally located for exploring London’s Southbank as is the The 4* Novotel London Bridge and the Mercure London Bankside. All are just a short walk to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
How many nights are included in a break to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre?
You can stay for as long as you like, so you could see several plays if you time it right. At least one night’s hotel accommodation is included but you can keep adding nights until you are bored of London – and we all know what that means!
