Aspects of Love Theatre Breaks

Aspects of Love : a romantic theatre break in London in 2023 to see Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical at the Lyric Theatre for a strictly limited season last summer.

Aspects of Love is based on the novel by David Garnett  about passion, love, life and loss in post-war France and Italy. It follows three generations of the Dillingham family spanning 20 years. Alex falls in love with an actress Rose and as the pair embark on a passionate affair, the unexpected arrival of Uncle George changes all their lives and those around them forever as they discover how love – in its many forms – truly does change everything.

Aspects of Love London Theatre BreaksThirty four years after starring in the premiere of Aspects of Love as Alex, Michael Ball returned to the production as the uncle, George. Michael Ball got to number 2 in the UK pop charts with the hugely popular anthem “Love Changes Everything” from the show.

Aspects of Love was directed by Jonathan Kent and was a re-imagined chamber version of the show. It has lyrics by Don Black and Charles Hart.
