Florian Zeller? He’s French isn’t he? Is The Truth in French?
Yes, Zeller is French and the original was in French (called La Vérité) but this version has been translated by Christopher Hampton and Lindsay Posner. They also translated his play The Lie. Hampton has translated The Father, The mother, The Son, The Height of the Storm, The Forest all by Florian Zeller.
When can I book The Truth for?
The Truth is on at the Apollo Theatre from 09 June to 12 September 2026. Evening performances are generally Monday to Saturday at 20:00pm but there are some exceptions during June so do check when booking. Weekend matinees are usually Saturdays at 15:00 but there are a couple of extra Friday matinees and a couple of Sunday matinees, so again, do check times and days when booking.
Midweek matinees are usually Wednesday but there is also one on Thursday 09 July.
Where is the Theatre?
The Apollo Theatre is on Shaftesbury Avenue which runs between Soho and China Town. The nearest tube stations are Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly Line and also the Northern (Leicester Square) and Bakerloo (Piccadilly Circus) lines, so wherever you are staying in London you should be able to get there easily.

What are the best hotels for the Apollo Theatre and The Truth?
Nearby hotels include the Thistle Piccadilly, the Hotel Indigo Leicester Square and the Montcalm Piccadilly Townhouse. These are all four star hotels so have an excellent reputation and also they are all doing some great deals over the summer.
