8/10/12 Dickens in London

Hi Theatre-goers

There’s a very well-known British Thesbian doing this own one-man show this Autumn which is causing quite a stir in the West End

Prominent theatre luvvie Simon Callow who, following the success of “Being Shakespeare”, plays the role of Charles Dickens in “The Mystery of Charles Dickens” at the Playhouse theatre until 10th November. Here Callow celebrates some of the authors finest works playing a multitude of parts including Fagin from Oliver Twist, Scrooge from A Christmas Carol, Miss Haversham from Great Expectations and David Copperfield from David Copperfield

It is an evening of entertainment filled with humour and a first class performance from Mr Callow reciting Dickens in his deep velvety tones and bringing back to life the wonders of Victorian England.

Well worth a look-see.

Happy Monday everyone
