So the news that Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, produced in association with Tina Turner herself, at the Aldwych Theatre, is here to remain a lasting memory to the great lady and her music is wonderful news. Tina Turner Theatre Breaks are currently booking to October 2025.

From humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner didn’t just break the rules, she rewrote them. This new stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race.
One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, Tina Turner won 11 Grammy Awards and her live shows were seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history.

Featuring her much loved songs, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd who is probably best known for directing the smash hit musical Mamma Mia!
The show currently stars Karis Anderson and Elesha Paul Moses sharing the role of Tina and Okezie Morro as Ike Turner. With Mark Anderson as Record Producer Phil Spector and Lyricist Terry Britten, Jonathan Carlton as record company Marketing Manager Erwin Bach, Vanessa Dumatey as Tina’s sister Alline Bullock, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina’s Grandmother, GG, Earl Gregory as Tina’s father Richard Bullock, Harry Harrington as Tina’s Manager Roger Davies, Emma Hatton as Ike and Tina’s manager Rhonda Graam, Jairus McClanahan as Tina’s first love Raymond Hill and Carole Stennett as Tina’s mother Zelma.
The show is on at The Aldwych Theatre. The closest underground station is Covent Garden on the Piccadilly line, but if you want to stay close by during your Tina Turner Theatre Breaks, then the Strand Palace Hotel is just 200 yards away and the Residence, Covent Garden is on nearby Bedford Street.
