25/2/13 Another One Man, Two Guvs blog!

Hi Theatre-goers

Yes, I know that my last blog was about One Man, Two Guvnors, but that was before I had seen it at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, London. Now I have and it is bloomin’ brilliant. I cannot sing its praises highly enough!

Francis (Hound) woos his conquest Dolly in the hilarious One Man Two Guvnors

Upon entry into the auditorium audiences are thoroughly entertained with light hearted 60s styles song from skiffle band The Craze who then disappear into the abyss of the orchestra pit and carry on their good work from there during the show.

From start to finish One Man, Two Guvnors is one long laugh out loud moment. Rufus Hound interacts effortlessly with the audience and delivers a splendid performance as ever-hungry, hapless  Francis Henshall. The food scene is as brilliant as any Laurel & Hardy slap-stick routine. Pure genius.

All I can do now is urge you all to see it without delay!

Have a great Monday everyone
