Hi Theatregoers
On Friday I was very busy answering all your email queries and they were mainly from schools wanting details for trips to London next year. We Will Rock You & Billy Elliot being the favourites at the moment.
Seen both shows and they are brilliant. From the fabulous Queen soundtrack in We Will Rock You to the outstanding dancing in Billy Elliot, I can recommend them without a moment’s hesitation.
Next weekend I’m going to see As You Like It at Shakespeare’s Globe which I am embarrassed to say I have never been to – even though I worked for the Arts Council (who funded a huge part of it’s re-build) at the time it opened in 1996.
The following weekend I’m off to the O2 Arena to see Jesus Christ Superstar – soooo looking forward to this as one of my favourite rock operas of all time.
And finally, I’ve booked my tickets for the ATP World Tennis Finals again at the O2 in November. Taking the kids as they’ve got heavily into tennis this summer – hmm, wonder why that is?
