Hi theatre-goers
Simon and I enjoyed a jolly Christmas lunch with many of our box-office chums in London yesterday where talk pretty much centred around the imminent opening of new Spice Girl inspired musical Viva Forever! at the Piccadilly theatre last night.
Rumours were that only four of the Girl Power group would turn up to walk the red carpet, but in fact Victoria did indeed attend (only just in time for curtain up!) with hubby and 3 sons in tow. It was also reported that far from keeping her usual sullen expression, she joined in and sung along with all the hits!
Viva Forever! is based around the current trend of tv talent shows and follows four close friends looking for that illusive record deal by winning the competition. However, during the up & downs of the audition process it looks like 4 may become 1 as Viva is singled-out at the judge’s house stage. Viva must choose between friends and fame!
The story is moved along with many of the Spice Girls UK top ten hits including “Wanna Be”, “Say You’ll Be There”, “Mama” and “Spice Up Your Life” which are all sure to get you singing along just as it did with Mrs Beckham.

Have a great mid-week Wednesday
