Took the kids [to The Lion King] when they were younger. The stage is very busy, lots going on for kids to be looking at. Handy hint, get aisle seats. We were recommended to and glad we did as all the animals run down the aisles.
Did you know that they've released a 3D version of this film in selected cinemas and it's beating Brad Pit's new film at US box offices? Just goes to show the endurance of such a great show and the production value it gives the public 17 years on.
Whether you see this show live or on the silver screen you cannot help but be swept away by both the chest swelling and heart wrenching score. The colour and spectacle you see on stage is second to none.
Children sit there agog at what they are witnessing!
Five stars plus!
My daughter and I both thought it was brilliant. It still has its charm… We sat in the stalls under the dress circle….I would recommend people that have children if they can sit by the aisle/stalls/near to the front to enjoy the characters that come into the crowd etc
