See what’s on next at the Wyndham’s theatre

David Morrissey and Johnny Flynn reprise their roles as Harry and Mooney in the Royal Court’s critical acclaimed transfer of Martin McDonagh’s Hangmen to the Wyndham’s theatre.

5 stars from Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Time Out and Sunday Times

“Perhaps the most line-by-line funny play London has seen in years” Daily Telegraph
“Drop-dead hilarious”
The Independent
“Unquestionably, the funniest and most entertaining play in London right now”
Time Out
“Gripping, funny and dramatically tense”
 Sunday Times

Harry is something of a local celebrity – at least he is in a small pub in Oldham, Lancs. But what’s the second-best hangman in England to do now they’ve abolished the death penalty? Amongst the local hacks and pub regulars lining up to hear Harry’s reaction to the news, a stranger lurks with a very different agenda!

Martin’s McDonagh’s theatre credits include The Cripple of Inishmaan in which Daniel Radcliffe starred during the Michael Grandage season at the Noel Coward theatre in 2013 as well as writing and directing the films In Bruges, which won BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay, and Seven Psychopaths.
