Top Ten Theatre Breaks Goodbyes!

Today, as Theatre Breaks gets ready to say goodbye to the summer holidays, my top ten is the top ten closing London shows. They will make way for next week and the top ten opening London shows!

So you have anything between 3 hours and 2 weeks to pick up a ticket to see the following?

Good bye, tomorrow, to Chicago, Love Never Dies and Butley whilst As You Like it leaves the Globe tonight! Fela! leaves London theatreland on Sunday and there is only one more week till Journey’s End does too.

A week’s warning for Much Ado – which has done – and Pygmalion. The Tiger Who Came to Tea, which closes on the 4th, will never come again (as you should very well know)!

Lastly, opening and closing (so a brief flash I suppose) on the 4th is West End Bares: Clothing Optional * which is a rather saucy pair of performances in aid of The Make A Difference Trust which brings together the entertainment industry and its audiences to raise funds to support people with long term chronic health issues and support education and food security in Southern Africa. Just be careful when you google it!

And that is it. Have a good theatrical weekend.

* Is that clothing optional for the audience too?
