Theatre Breaks Casting News 10-10-2011

Marti Pellow Joins Blood Brothers

Marti Pellow will take the role of Narrator in the cast of Blood Brothers from 01 November 2011

Marti Pellow will be remembered most for singing with hit 1990’s pop group Wet Wet Wet. He will be taking on the role of the Narrator at the Phoenix theatre in front of those booking Blood Brothers Theatre Breaks for a strictly limited run – the show is currently booking until Saturday November 26th 2011.

During his time in Wet Wet Wet, Pellow had over 25 chart hits, including number one singles With a Little Help from My Friends, Love is All Around from the film Four Weddings and a Funeral and Goodnight Girl.

Blood Brothers is one of the UK’s most popular musicals, written by Willy Russell and directed by Bob Tomson and Bill Kenwright (Everton FC chairman!).   Blood Brothers tells the story of twins – two brothers, who despite being separated at birth, meet later in life – one of my personal favourite shows!
