Sinatra – The Man & His Music celebrates the famed American crooner’s first British performance at the venue 65 years on. The show also marks 100 years since the legendary singer’s birth.
Featuring 22 year old Bootle born George Gallagher (pictured right), winner of the BBC 1 Sinatra : Our Way talent show, plus a 24-piece orchestra and 20 dancers on stage, the multi-media show will be a tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes using pictures, recordings, clips and rarely seen interview footage.
With full support from the Sinatra family – including his children Nancy and Frank Jr. – the show will include hits such as Fly Me to the Moon, Come Fly With Me, My Way and New York, New York.
One of the most instantly-recognisable singers of all time, Frank Sinatra won 11 Grammy awards for his music and an Oscar in 1953 for his role in From Here to Eternity.e
