“A truly lovely musical” Group Travel Organisers Association

With a book by four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper,  the three gong Olivier Award winning Kinky Boots Theatre Breaks tells the story of Charlie Price who has reluctantly inherited his father’s Northampton shoe factory. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save the family business from bankruptcy, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola.

A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he’s meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible… and discovers that when you change your mind, you can change the world.

Before the show’s opening in 2015, director and choreographer, Jerry Mitchell said: “I am delighted to see this big-spirited musical arrive in London. Kinky Boots is very close to my heart, and I am really looking forward to staging it here with a British cast.”

The 2026 cast will be lead by Johannes Radabe. Johannes is a South African professional dancer and choreographer, best known for his role as a professional on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. He has achieved several firsts on the show, including being the first male dancer to perform in heels and partnering with John Whaite to create the first-ever all-male couple. Before joining Strictly, he was a professional dancer on the South African versions of the show and toured with the dance show Burn the Floor. His life and journey have also been the subject of his memoir, Jojo: Finally Home, which is being adapted into a film.

Kinky Boots was such fun. It was my boyfriend's first West End show and now he's hooked!

Kinky Boots was fantastic, full of energy, pathos and laughter. Very talented cast - couldn't fault it!
Celebrating my nieces 50th birthday, the whole package worked extremely well. The theatre tickets were first class - only slight gripe with the hotel, bar closed at 11pm which was a little disappointing on a Friday evening however, we didn't have far to walk to get a drink!
