Julius Caesar at the Noel Coward Theatre

Probably one of the world’s greatest political thrillers, William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar is a fast moving thriller. No surpirse then that the RSC and director Gregory Doran was drawn to find parallels in the political machinations of modern-day Africa and the overthrow of various dictators during the recent ‘Arab Spring’.

A fast-moving thriller about the struggle for democracy, Julius Caesar is sees two men at once united and separated by a single act –  political or personal the consequences are far reaching.   the production explores the implications of political assassination and the unpredictability of its aftermath.

The cast includes Adjoa Andoh, Ray Fearon, Paterson Joseph, Jeffery Kissoon and Joseph Mydell.
