The Importance of Being Earnest is Back in London

The Importance of Being Earnest Theatre Breaks

June 2014 saw the arrival of a star-studdied cast for a new production of Oscar Wilde’s well-loved
comedy The Importance of Being Earnest at the Harold Pinter Theatre courtesy of the Bunbury Company of Players – otherwise known as Rosalind Ayres, Niall Buggy, Nigel Havers, Martin Jarvis, Christine Kavanagh, Cherie Lunghi and Siân Phillips.

But in 2015 the play, if not the production, returns.

No silly Bunbury Players, just Oscar Wilde’s original play starring none other than David Suchet as Lady Bracknell

Further information on the new 2015 production of The Importance of Being Earnet is at http://www.theatrebreaks.co.uk/importance-earnest-2/

The Importance of Being Earnest tells of the mis-haps and mis-adventures of two young bachelors, John Worthing, J.P. and Algernon Moncrieff who feel compelled to create different identities in order to pursue two eligible ladies: Cecily Cardew and Gwendolyn Fairfax.

What they don’t plan on is a brush with the redoubtable Lady Bracknell!

Delicious dialogue and doughty dames deliver delectable drama!
