This is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion-picture.

Based on the original “Hunger Games” story, the stage version follows our  heroine Katniss Everdeen on her journey of self-discovery, as she emerges as a beacon of rebellion and hope.

In an extraordinary feat of stagecraft  The Hunger Games: On Stage is full of  jaw-dropping stunts, mind-bending illusions, and a fully immersive world that puts you at the centre of the action.

Playwright Conor McPherson (Girl from the North Country, The Weir) and Director Matthew Dunster (2:22 – A Ghost Story, Hangmen, The Pillowman), will bring this powerful story to life on stage in an epic, unforgettable, theatrical experience.

The Hunger Games: On Stage is performed in the brand-new state of the art venue, Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre. It opened on 13 November 2025  with performances running Tuesday to Saturday at 19:30 with weekend matinees at 14:30 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is currently booking until 25 October 2026

Just a short walk from Canary Wharf Tube station and centrally located in the Docklands area, the Tribe London Canary Wharf is an ideal location for visitors to the  Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.

Other hotels close to the theatre include the Ibis London Docklands and the Novotel London Point A London and Novotel and the Radisson Blu,  so a great choice there but the theatre is also close to the Jubilee Line, Elizabeth Line, and DLR so you can easily get to the rest of London, wherever you are staying.
