Dirty Dancing Theatre Breaks in London

Beloved coming of age musical, Dirty Dancing Theatre Breaks returns to London and the Prince Edward Theatre to take us back to a golden time of music. First dance. First love. Theatre Breaks Coming Soon. Read On

Adored by romantics for almost 30 years Dirty Dancing is a powerful story of love, freedom and acceptance.

America, 1963, Frances “Baby” Houseman is spending summer with her family at an all inclusive holiday camp. 17 years old she is the apple of her father’s eye but in this coming of age story Baby learns the ways of the world and her father must see her for the young woman she has become.

Falling in love with the camp’s working class dance instructor Johnny Castle, Baby must face the prejudice of class differences if their love is to last the summer.

Michael O’Reilly (West Side Story, Lord of the Flies) returns as Johnny Castle, following appearing in productions in Paris, the West End and a UK tour. He is joined by Pippa Jackson in her professional stage debut as Baby Houseman and Emily Layden-Fritz (CATS!, Let Me Entertain You) as Penny Johnson.
