Cagney Joins Lacey in London’s West End

Sharon Gless stars in A Round-Heeled Woman at the Aldwych Theatre

A Round-Heeled Woman opens at the Aldwych theatre soon and TV cop Sharon Gless will be taking on the lead role.

A Round-Heeled Woman transfers from the Riverside Studios moving to the West End from 24 November.

Gless ‘s character: Jane Jesko, is a retired divorcee who is looking to find love in California – who, making up for lost time, places a sexy advert in the New York Review of Books to help secure her man.

Gless has acted on the London stage before, way back in 1996 when she appeared in the West End production of Chapter Two, but obviously she is best known for her screen work and mainly that seminal cop series Cagney & Lacey (Lacey or rather actress Tyne Daly is staring in Masterclass – the Maria Calas Story which opens soon).

The show was not bookable for Theatre Breaks audiences at its original venue but hotel and A Round Heeled Woman theatre breaks are now available with best seats at the Aldwych Theatre.
