So Juliet sets off on a girls’ trip to Paris with friends Anne, May and her ever present nurse. But never straight forward, things go awry when an unlikely love triangle unfurls. This is the narrative that Anne Hathaway persuades Shakespeare to write for his star crossed lovers, instead of ending in a family tomb in Verona.
& Juliet is the irreverent and fun-loving new West End musical that asked: what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning? What if she chose life?
Already nominated for 13 awards for the up and coming awards season & Juliet is stuffed full of pop and rock anthems by the legendry Max Martin (who wrote for Britney, Back Street Boys, Usher, Jessie J, Katy Perry, just to name a few). & Juliet was at the Shaftesbury Theatre at the far end of Shaftesbury Avenue to Eros! So the show’s closest underground stations was Holborn and Covent Garden.
