Beyond Bollywood

Beyond Bollywood Theatre Breaks and Hotel Packages

Beyond Bollywood is not just a musical; it’s a theatrical experience never seen before outside a Bollywood movie. Visitors to London on Beyond Bollywood Theatre Breaks will be treated to a slice of colourful Mumbai.

Following a sell out run in Mumbai, the world famous London Palladium will play host to the UK premiere of an explosion of colour, culture, music and energy with the opening of the vibrant musical Beyond Bollywood.

Not since Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Bombay Dreams has a truly authentic Indian dance musical played in such a prestigious West End venue. Beyond Bollywood takes audiences on cultural tour of India capturing the fire, heat and desire of the magical country.

In the quest to fulfill her mother’s dying wish Shaily Shergill leaves behind her home in Munich to journey to India, but will her mother’s dream turn into reality? Shaily risks everything including true love to bring her mother’s dream to life.

Written, choreographed and directed by Rajeev Goswami, a former Bollywood dancer, and featuring an original score by brothers Salim and Sulaiman Merchant (Salim being a judge on the tv talent show Indian Idol for two seasons), the very best of Bollywood’s creative talent bring this spectacular theatrical event to life for 8 weeks only.

The London Palladium is in Argyll Street just off Oxford Street by Oxford Circus. It is easy to get to by bus or tube if your Sinatra Theatre Break hotel is not within walking distance (of which there are many!).  Oxford Circus underground station is the closest, with access to the Victoria, Bakerloo and Central lines.
