Legally Blonde Theatre Breaks in London

Legally Blonde – the Musical at the Savoy Theatre

The smash hit comedy film, Legally Blonde, has become the brilliant brilliant (“snaps”) West End musical Legally Blonde – the Musical!  With all the glamour and (lets face it) pink that wowed cinema audiences back in 2001!

College sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesn’t take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner , dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School!

Based on the hit movie of the same name, Legally Blonde – the Musical is the Broadway sensation created by a top-of-their-class creative team, led by Tony Award-winning director and Olivier nominated choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray).

A Theatre Break for Legally Blonde the Musical will take you from the social whirl of California campus life to Harvard’s Halls of Justice with the West End’s brightest new heroine (and of course, her Chihuahua, Bruiser).

The verdict? This much fun shouldn’t be legal!

Carley Stenson now stars as ELLE WOODS joining Lee Mead who plays EMMETT FORREST, Peter Davison is PROFESSOR CALLAHAN, Natalie Casey is PAULETTE and Simon Thomas plays Warner Huntington III

A thoroughly enjoyable evening spent at the theatre.

Everything works well with this musical- thought Susan McFadden's comic timing was brilliant especially during the song when Elle is being dumped.

Loved the dogs – especially Bruiser.

Its going to be a great show for hen parties and others just wanting a fun night out.

Would say its in the league of Dirty Dancing and Hairspray.

  1. Ben (Emmerdale) Freeman will play Warner Huntington III from Monday 10 October.

Freeman is best known for his appearances in Emmerdale, but this is not his first London outing: he also starred as Norman in Dreamboats and Petticoats.

He joins Ex-Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson who will carry on playing Elle Woods, with Natalie Casey starring as Paulette.

  2. Quiz: Earlier this year, did Legally Blonde the Musical win
    a) Nobel Peace Prize
    or
    b) Laurence Olivier Best Musical Award?
