The Bodyguard, based on the Holywood movie starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston has come to London’s Theatreland and stars the phenomenal Heather Headley and Lloyd Owen

Former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer is hired to protect a pop superstar from an unknown stalker. Each expects to be in charge – what they don’t expect is to fall in love. Ahhhh!

Since it previewed on 06 November audiences have been loving the show and Heather Headley wowed the Royal variety audience too. The Bodyguard is a real his and hers musical: a romantic thriller! It not only includes all of the songs from the film but also a number of other Whitney Houston hits: Queen of the Night, So Emotional, One Moment in Time, Saving All My Love, I’m Your Baby Tonight, Run to You, I Have Nothing, How Will I Know, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and one of the greatest hit songs of all time – I Will Always Love You.

Heather Headley, although not globally known is truly the star of stage musicals – originating role of Nala in the Lion King on Broadway, but more recently winning a Tony Award for Best Actress in Aida.

Lloyd Owen is the face you will all know if not the name: Apollo 18, Monarch of the Glen etc.
