People, Places and Things

Tickets for People, Places and Things in London are no longer available to book

The National theatre’s production of People, Places and Things is now at the Wyndham’s theatre until 4th June 2016.

After a sold-out season in the Dorfman Theatre on London’s South Bank, this new play written by Duncan Macmillan (1984) and directed by Jeremy Herrin (Wolf Hall) is an intoxicating new play about surviving the modern world with 2016 Olivier Award winner Denise Gough in the lead role of Emma who, the tag-line says, was having the time of her life. Now she’s in rehab.

Emma’s first step is to admit that she has a problem. But the problem isn’t with Emma, it’s with everything else. She needs to tell the truth. But she’s smart enough to know that there’s no such thing. When intoxication feels like the only way to survive the modern world, how can she ever sober up?
