Tamsin Greig, famed for her television appearances in The Green Wing, Black Books and more recently Episodes with Matt leBlanc, stars in Jumpy - a comical family drama about a wife, a mother and life after turning 50.
Hilary (Greig) used to protest at Greenham Common, now the only protesting she does is at the clothes her daughter wears! It isn’t easy being a a mother, a wife, and fifty especially when you also have to cope with the advances of a predatory actor and your only confidente is a sexually adventurous friend Frances!
Hilary has a lot to contend with!
Jumpy is play written by April De Angelis and was nominated for the MasterCard Best New Play at the 2012 Laurence Olivier Awards when it ran at the Royal Court Theatre – and no, you probably didn’t see it: it was sold out!
