UPDATE Theatre Breaks are available for American Idiot in London in 2016
The last two Green Day albums have ben combined to create a brand new musical that will be touring the UK next year.
Called American Idiot after the first of the two albums (21st Century Breakdown is the second) the musical will play London HMV Hammersmith Apollo between Monday 3rd and Saturday 8th December.
Frontman of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong, said: “We can’t wait for our friends across the pond to see the musical. We’re excited to be bringing the US stage production of American Idiot to the UK and Ireland. We played to some of the most insane crowds when we toured the album there.”
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (09 December 2012) and are likely to go as quickly as they did for the Olympic Opening ceremony.
