Will Young is lined-up to star in Rufus Norris’ highly anticipated re-imagination of the award-winning production Cabaret.

Will Young, who shot to stardom after winning Pop Idol will play the Emcee in his musical theatre debut beginning a run in London’s West End at the Savoy Theatre (currently home to The Sunshine Boys starring Danny DeVito) on Wednesday, 03 October 2012.

Cabaret will feature spellbinding choreography, stunning costumes and the fantastic songs that everyone knows and loves, including Money Makes the World Go Round, Two Ladies, Maybe this Time and the title song Cabaret.

Set in the Kit Kat Klub in 1931 Weimar Berlin, Cabaret tells the story of Sally Bowles – a dancer at the club – and all those who work, visit and live near the club and the effect that the rise to power of the Nazi Party has on all of their lives.
