My you have been busy over the last 24 hours with your email enquiries about booking theatre breaks this Autumn (hence my slightly late posting of daily blog!)
There are some fabulous new and resurrected shows lighting up the West End between now and Christmas.
First off is the stage debut of Will Young playing the Emcee in Cabaret at the Savoy theatre. About to go into previews it officially opens on 4th October. Also stars ex-Eastender Michelle Ryan in the role of Sally.
Next – pretty much opening at the same time – are the Spice Girls inspired musical Viva Forever (cast still to be announced!) and also The Bodyguard based on the Hollywood blockbuster which starred Kevin Costner and the late great Whitney Houston. Apart from all the songs featured in the 1994 film, additional Whitney hits will be written into the show. Stage version stars Brit actor Lloyd Owen and West Indian songstress Heather Hadley.
All three of these shows are definitely on my MUST SEE list and on yours too by all accounts!
