After leaving Australia and New Zealand in stitches, Bill Bailey Limboland will entertain UK audiences at London’s Vaudeville Theatre during December & January.

With his straight faced unique stand up comedy show,  Bill Bailey explores the gap between how we imagine our lives to be and how they really are.

★★★★ Pretty much unmissable The Herald Sun, Melbourne

★★★★  Life in Limboland, consistently funny and dazzlingly quick Sydney Morning Herald

With his trademark intelligence and sharp wit, he tells tales of finding himself in this halfwayplace.   From his countless global  travels,  he  recounts  the  hilarious  saga  of  a  disastrous  family  trip  to  Norway  to  see  the  Northern  Lights.   He  rails against a  world  that doesn’t match  up  to  our expectations  and  contemplates  the  true  nature  of happiness.

And  no  Bill Bailey Limboland show would be complete without music, so we have Bill’s version of the protest song, a heart-‐rending country and western ballad played on a Bible, and a fabulously downbeat version of Happy Birthday.

Hotels close by

The Vaudeville Theatre on the Strand has two favourite Theatre Break hotels very close by: the 4 star Strand Palace Hotel and the lovely 4 star deluxe Guoman Charing Cross. Just round the corner there is also the ultra trendy 5 star ME London hotel with its uniquely named rooms and its cool bars and restaurants.

Of course my favourite has always been the Kingsway Hall on Great Queen Street but you don’t need to stay nearby. Covent Garden and Charing Cross tube stations are nearby to whisk you off to any part of London, or you can take a delightful stroll across the Thames and head for one of the hotels on the south side of the river: a bit cheaper AND you get the benifit of those beautiful views up and down the Thames as you head back after the show!
